Stepping back can open your mind’s eye to feel less overwhelmed, more in control, and not alone. If someone you know is struggling reach out to them. In this episode, I will task you with a couple of exercises to pay attention and awaken your senses. When you are more aware of the present moment and find out how you currently perceive the passage of a minute. You can become more aware of time by meditating. Meditation can enable you to focus on the present moment and to let go of repetitive thoughts. While you are in your minute…what do you see, hear, smell, taste, and feel? Notice, when you focused on your senses, it’s harder to think about other distractions. Practice will help you find one minute of time in your day to recenter and relax.

Seasons are a natural part of life, they come and go, and they teach us about change. Experience a change in season and we have to adapt. Whether it’s the actual season, a season of our life, or a period of our life, we have to learn how to respond. We may dress differently, eat differently, and even sleep differently. Adaptation can be challenging, but it’s also an opportunity for growth. We can look back at our life and recognize the seasons in our life, the high and lows. Just remember there is a time for everything. When you are ready to blossom, not when the world, your family, or cultural expectations expect you to, enjoy your bloom to the fullest, until the next time you bloom.

This episode is dedicated a wonderful woman I met at jury duty, number 224. She’s in the early spring bloom of her life again. Getting out of a relationship that she wasn’t respected, losing 70 lbs, and living life for herself as an older mom vs. worrying about everyone’s expectations on her. She’s in living her best life, she’s just had to go through her own round of seasons to get here.
